Stefanie Clarke, President
Stefanie Clarke has more than fifteen years of experience working with non-profit, political, and corporate clients on their communications and public affairs programs. She has represented clients in numerous issue areas and industries, including health care, education, criminal justice, the environment, consumer products, retail, and technology.
Stefanie has an extensive background in all public relations service areas, offering expertise in local and national media relations, community relations, crisis communications, writing and editing, media and speaker training, and special event planning. A recognized media relations strategist, she has secured news coverage for her clients in every local major media outlet, as well as in prominent national media, including the The New York Times, The Washington Post, and CNN.
As an independent consultant, Stefanie works primarily with non-profit organizations, including Boulder Community Hospital, Families of Homicide Victims and Missing Persons, The Children's Hospital Foundation and the Children's Miracle Network. In addition to developing and executing media relations programs for her clients, Stefanie helps implement community relations programs and partnerships between business and local charities. Prior to forming her own consulting practice, Stefanie managed high-profile public relations campaigns for GBSM, one of the Rocky Mountain region's leading communications firms.
Stefanie also has extensive experience in political communication. She served as the communications director for U.S. Representative Mark Udall's first campaign for Congress, one of the nation's most closely watched races of 1998. She then went on to handle Representative Udall's district communications before transitioning to the private sector. Stefanie began her career in public opinion research, which gives her unique insight into message development and strategic thinking for her clients. She is a trained focus group moderator and has conducted qualitative and quantitative market research and strategic analysis for political candidates, ballot initiatives, non-profit organizations and Fortune 500 companies.
Stefanie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science at Washington University in St. Louis. She lives with her family in Boulder County, Colorado.
